The Denver Christkindlmarket is celebrating its 25th Anniversary with more holiday magic than ever before! This year, we’re decking the halls at our new home on Auraria Campus in Denver bringing fresh sparkle to the season with fun anniversary activations and the enchanting addition of glass ornament workshops. With twinkling lights, festive cheer, and delightful surprises around every corner, this year’s Market is set to be the most joyful celebration yet!
Please note that our opening hours are changing to MO - TH 1 - 9 pm and FR - SU 11 am - 9 pm,
so that you can enjoy the holiday lights longer.
Our New Home at
Auraria Campus
The Denver Christkindlmarket is moving to its new home at the Tivoli Quad on Auraria Campus for the 2025 season - and the beloved Mile High Tree is coming along! While construction at Civic Center Park takes place, we’re embracing the holiday spirit in a location rich with German heritage - the historic Tivoli Union building was built by German-born brewer Moritz Sigi in 1870 - making it a perfect fit for our beloved tradition. With easy access to public transportation and plenty of parking, getting to the Market will be as joyful as the experience itself. Come celebrate the season in our new winter wonderland!

Glass Ornament
Workshop
Step into the magic of German Christkindlmarkets and experience the centuries-old tradition of glassblowing firsthand. Guided by the master glass artists of Mack Glass, you’ll shape molten glass into your very own holiday ornament - just as artisans in Germany have done for generations. In just 30 minutes, you’ll create a sparkling keepsake that captures both your creativity and the timeless heritage of Christmas glass. A festive, hands-on experience you’ll treasure forever!

The class can accommodate up to 5 people per timeslot, ages 7 and up. Larger groups are welcome to stay and cheer on their friends and family members. No prior experience is needed and the artists ensure everyone's project is successful.
25th Anniversary Celebrations
For our 25th Anniversary, the Denver Christkindlmarket is spreading extra cheer through exciting local collaborations! Students from MSU Denver’s School of Hospitality created festive timeline displays celebrating our history - with one winning project brought to life at the Market! We’re also thrilled to unveil this year’s commemorative mugs and steins, designed by Denver’s own street art legend Pat Milbery. And don’t miss Englert’s Apfel Spritz at the bar - a delicious toast to the original organizer Jack Englert.
The Western Carousel
To mark the Denver Christkindlmarket’s 25th anniversary, we’re excited to unveil a stunning new attraction — the Western Carousel! This beautifully restored 42' Herschell Carousel features hand-carved horses, intricate details, and the nostalgic charm of a classic ride.
Inspired by the American West of the 1849–1890 era, the carousel showcases bold colors and craftsmanship that evoke adventure and history. It’s perfect for kids experiencing their first ride and adults reliving cherished memories.
Whether you're sipping cocoa, shopping for handcrafted gifts, or enjoying festive performances, the Western Carousel adds a magical touch to your holiday experience.
