How to get there: what are parking and transport recommendations?
Parking
There are plenty of options for parking near and on Auraria Campus, including metered street parking, parking lots, and parking garages. There are no designated parking lots specifically for the Christkindlmarket. We recommend using the Holly Lot, 7th Street Garage, Elm Lot, Cherry Lot, and 5thStreet Garage, since those are less used during ball arena events.

Absolutely. We pride ourselves on being an all ages friendly and welcoming Market, especially for kids. There will be plenty of entertainment for children (especially on Family Sundays!), a live music dance floor in front of the stage, as well as sweets, hot chocolate, and pastry vendors and an opportunity to meet the Christkind (the market’s namesake!) and St. Nikolaus on specific dates.
Please check our entertainment calendar for book readings, photo ops, and more family friendly activities.

Yes, the Market is wheelchair accessible, with ramps, as well as ADA accessible restrooms. Please note that weekends and evenings can get extremely busy and can be challenging to navigate in a wheelchair.

Dogs are always welcome at the Market. However, please take care to keep your pets on a leash at all times and clean up after them. In the event that your pet is unfriendly towards other customers, our security personnel will ask you to escort the pet to another location. Please note that due to crowding, dogs are not recommended during the Parade of Lights or on weekends. However, dogs are especially welcome at our annual Canine Christmas day on November 24.

In the event of severe weather conditions causing a delay or cancellation on a day the Market would be open, we will post updates on our website's homepage and social media.
