About the event
Amy Wadas joined the Denver7 News team in August 2022 and now anchors Denver7 News at 11 a.m. and the station's 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. newscasts on Local3. She also serves as the primary anchor for the late-morning and afternoon streaming newscasts on Denver7+.
She came to Denver from her hometown of Pittsburgh, where she worked as a reporter and fill-in anchor at the station she grew up watching, KDKA-TV and WPCW-TV. In Pittsburgh, Amy was a live lead reporter focusing on breaking news, enterprise and investigative reporting.
