Opening Ceremony

Please join us for the official Opening Ceremony of the Denver Christkindlmarket presented by Bank of America and United Airlines produced by the German American Chamber of Commerce – Colorado Chapter. The Grand Opening Celebration & Ceremonial Keg Tapping, emceed by Denver7 anchor Nicole Brady, will take place Friday, November 22nd at 6:00 pm at the Greek Amphitheatre Stage following the Opening of the Mile High Tree by VISIT DENVER.

Festivities include a welcome by Mayor Johnston and his tapping of the Prost Brewing ceremonial keg, live entertainment from the Guerrilla Fanfare Brass Band, and the Christkind reading the official opening prologue.

Prior to our Opening Ceremony, you are invited to come early to experience the lighting ceremony of the Mile High Tree, presented by Xcel Energy and Xfinity, starting at 5:15 pm in the Great Lawn at Civic Center Park directly next to the Denver Christkindlmarket.
