About the event
Jay Peteranetz is a Colorado Native. He grew up in Lafayette, CO and started drawing before bed every night at the age of seven. He went to college at the Savannah College of Art and Design and holds an MFA in Sequential Art. During his career, he has designed multiple characters for various clients across the world. He is the artist on the FIRST comic book on playing cards, MMD. Since 2017, he has been working with Upper Deck and Marvel Comics on various trading card properties. He has designed characters for companies in Chicago, IL, Denver, CO, Atlanta, GA, Dallas, TX, Chattanooga, TN, Frankfurt, GER, London, GBR, Stockholm, SWE.
He is married with six children and currently lives in Savannah, GA and is a Professor of Illustration specializing in Animated Illustration. He has designed the mugs and steins for the Denver Christkindl Market since 2016.
